Adam S.: I have had an occasional roof leak that would drip down through the roof and insulation, then condensate on the drywall, producing a brown stain. I have had wind damage and people out to tack down the shingles, as well as people to review the roof after hail storms and they all said the roof looked good. I had Andy come out and look at it, fearing more damage from wind and water leaking in. Andy told me the roof looks good (nice he was not trying to sell a new roof), but pointed out rust on the nails. He noted some condensation on nails is normal, but I had rust, indicating a ventilation problem and condensation causing the water stain. I had noticed this too being up there in the summer. He pointed out that new vents would help and bring the house up to current building codes. The price seemed reasonable and when his team arrived they knocked it out very quickly. I will use RMRD again if I have roof problems and recommend them.

Cherie C.: Share review Embed review 4/20/2018 I tried for about a month to get estimates for a minor repair to my skylight. I found people willing to do the work (through Thumbtack and other services), but I wanted a licensed roofer to do the work to avoid future issues. When I finally found some licensed roofers, getting a quote or responses was a challenge. Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors was the most professional and responsive. They gave me time frames for coming out to do the estimate and delivered within that time frame. They sent the estimate in a timely fashion and quoted far less for the repair than the other companies--and those companies took far longer to do the estimate and didn't seem interested in my small job. Since my repair was not urgent, they let me know they'd call when they planned to be in the neighborhood for other work and would swing by for our repair. They did just that, calling the day before and giving us a four-hour window the next day. Crew members came by about 1/2 hour into that window and were done rather quickly. I'll definitely call them again if I need roof work.

Andy was great in working with me to decide on a roofing product to use taking into account the requirements of my homeowner's association. He even made up special sample boards that showed more detail than the standard manufacturer's samples. He kept me up to date on their schedule so I could anticipate when they would be able to start this big job and he was very accurate in his time estimates for starting and duration of the job. Once the crew started they worked very hard, were all very polite and courteous, they paid close attention to detail, and were meticulous in their clean-up each day. They left my property cleaner than it was when they arrived. They had to pull out and reset 4 skylights and were very conscientious about coming into the house to clean up all debris that came in during that process. It took 13 working days to complete the job and they took special care to make sure the roof was "dry" each day when they left. They ran out of time one day in a difficult section and covered a large portion of the roof with a giant tarp in the event of rain that night. My community has limits on how early and late contractors can be working. The crew was always conscious of that and never tried to push the limits. They were all quick to answer any questions or address any concerns I had. From start to finish they were all a delight to work with and I can't imagine how they could have done a better job.

Amy S.: I needed a rooftop patio above my poolhouse completely resurfaced due to leaks and was told by other companies that "there was nothing they could do to fix it because it was built with the wrong materials originally" Andy came out to look at it, was very friendly and although he too questioned why it was built the way it was, he quickly came up with a wonderful solution for us. We contracted him to do the work, it looks and functions great, and he even found a way to save a couple thousand dollars and came in under the estimate! Kim P.: I needed an emergency gutter repair recommendation this winter for ice melting directly onto my front steps. I went with a recommendation from neighbors from my local Nextdoor.com site for Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors. They came out and did a great job for a very reasonable price! I had to call them back for what I thought was the same issue - twice. Once while still in the winter when we were having all of that snow and then again this week. The owner, Andy personally came out both times to inspect the work and fixed what was a very tiny issue the first time. He came back out today to inspect what I thought was the same problem again. Turns out my downspout was completely blocked with an "item" and my gutter was basically overflowing!!! I was so incredibly embarrassed!!! But Andy just laughed it off and was so kind about it (after removing said obstruction)! He never made me feel as silly as I felt and I appreciated that! I can tell that Andy completely believes in his work and the work of his employees and takes his customer's satisfaction VERY seriously! He will get ALL of my future roof and gutter work and I hope that you will consider choosing him as well. Just make sure you tell him that I sent you with all of my kudos and personal embarrassment :-) I really wish that all businesses treated their customers this well and could be this trusted to do the job right and take pride in the work they do!!! It was a 9 day project and we now have a roof that is a considerable improvement over what our builder put on 21 years ago. Andy stopped by the job site daily and oversaw every step of the project. His crew was very polite and pleasant to work with. They completely cleaned up each evening and did not leave behind any debris in the yard or driveway. We did have an incident where an exterior light broke during the construction but the crew removed it, took it to their shop and Andy welded it back together and it looks good as new. He offered to replace it if he couldn't fix it which I really appreciated. It was a small job, but Andy had a new box fabricated to the old one's specs and fixed the problem. Also, I have a garage with a parapet roof that had several leaks. He covered over the old roof with what looks like the material used for the DIA roof and fixed the problem. He did the scupper work himself, and his crew for the garage roofing were professional and courteous. These jobs were small but involved some creativity in solving.
